Black Swan Trailer Parody
2010; written & edited by Marc Chambers, voiceover by John Salwin
They pitched Black Swan as a dark, shocking thriller based on the play Swan Lake. That marketing strategy tested poorly. So they played up the lesbian angle instead.
Featured on KROQ-FM’s Kevin & Bean Show and on AM570 KLAC.
The Pitch
2010; by Marc Chambers & Mike Cioffi, starring Noah Kaufman, Mike Cioffi & Seena Akita
Ever wonder how bad TV shows somehow get produced anyway? Follow our hero on his journey from LA’s Union Station to his pitch meeting, down into the depths of depression, up the stairs to his shady hotel room and straight into the primetime network schedule.
Official selection, 2010 Santa Barbara Minute Film Festival.
Spy Team
2008; written by Marc Chambers, produced by Katie Fellion
Written, shot and edited by a small, industrious team of kids for the National Film Challenge. Someone’s boss wants him to spy on his cheatin’ wife, and it blossoms into a delightfully amusing spies-for-hire business. Wee!
Awarded “Best In Genre – Spy” in the 2008 National Film Challenge.
The Last Regret
2005; by Marc Chambers, starring Lalo Reyes and Michelle Alicia Chase
Remember. When you’re… chopping carrots?… with your live-in girlfriend, don’t storm out of the house angry and run off down some dark weird alley. It might be the last thing you ever regret. Or something.
